This is grade A service from your normal move to your most precious cargo! I have used Black Tie on a personal level and felt the personal touch and care that I needed to be excited to refer them to my clients as a real estate agent! I first gave Black Tie a shot because I trusted one of their owners, Chris Hess, due to his decades in the moving industry. When I moved I tasked them with moving my grandmothers upright Yamaha piano to my home. They were honest, upfront and clear with me about my expectations of the placement for the piano in my new home, ways to protect my precious cargo and how we could best go about making things happen in the way I originally hoped. In the end I am most grateful that they did not end up putting the piano on my second floor which I originally wanted. When they came out there was no way to safely move it there without damaging the insides due to the double backs in my step. Instead of just power it up there (which they certainly could have), they took the time to send out another crew to try to safely move it iipstairs. When it still was not safe to move it up after a good while trying they involved me in the decision. It may seem odd to write such a positive review when the outcome was not what I originally requested. Ultimately that is what makes me trust and appreciate them so much! Another mover may have just done what I asked at the risk of the internal integrity of my grandmothers piano which means so much to me. They did not. They cared about the integrity of their cargo and the emotional impact it would have on me as the customer instead of just viewing this as another sale to check off of their list for the day. I will ONLY use Black Tie moving forward and will continue to refer them to my friends, family and clients. They are truly the best in the business!!!

If you are planning a move, do yourself a favor and call these guys!. They were the best price of the places I called. The two guys (Tristan and I forget the other guys name) were on time and fast. I was moving a small one bedroom and they were done in 1.5 hours. They took care of my belongings and made sure not to bump or hit anything in my apartment. They also took my washer and dryer down to the bulk pick up for me. Thank you Black Tie.
Great movers
These guys showed up on time and move a 2 bed 2 bath home on the 3rd floor in 5 hours got us all into our new place and took everything easy and careful against walls all the while maintaining a great work place in the Columbus 90 degree heat….these guys surpass expectations and maintained great professionalism… would definitely recommend to friends and family…I can’t remember both names but I know the one guys name was harold special shout out to him and his partner
