Listen to Your Body
It’s easy to overdo it when moving, especially in warm weather. Pay attention to your body during the move and take breaks every hour or so to rest. It’s also a good idea to stay hydrated by sipping on water throughout the day. You might also consider slathering on some suntan lotion. You can get burned, even on a cloudy day.
Pack Up Your Belongings Early
If you are planning on doing the packing yourself, start at least a week beforehand. This way you won’t be forced to do a lot of extra work in the heat on the day of the move.
